Renee’s Mocha Moments
Women On A Journey
Renee Gathers is a native of Charleston, SC. and has traveled with the US Navy for 20 years. During this time she supported and encouraged women at various duty stations. After 20 years of marriage, Renee found herself facing a tragic event when her husband died of militarily related death. This was a devastating and rough for Renee and her sons.
As she walked through her pain and grief, Renee realized that her story was not over. She relied on God’s strength and continued to add new chapters to her life. Renee used her experience to encourage and support other women who suffered a loss. She has lead life groups and taught classes that mentored and supported women in transition.
Renee is a graduate of Anderson University. She obtained her Evangelist License from Mount Carmel School of Evangelism. Renee also graduated from Saint Leo University with a degree in Theology. She is a mother of two sons, Ashton and Sidney.
Today Renee continues to mentor, support, and encourage women and men experiencing major life transitions. Her goal is to help women and men understand their story is not over, they can add new chapters to their lives.
